At SAT EL LABRADOR, because our olive trees are situated in the influential area of the Natural Reserve of Laguna de Fuente de Piedra, we are in favour of a traditional, sustainable use of the land. Our work develops in accordance with a cycle of exploitation. We use the by-products of the “Almazara” (oil mill) to fertilise the olive trees: the “alpechin” and the “orujo”, the pruned branches and the vegetable covering are used in the same way.
This organic fertilisation contributes to the general well-being of the olive trees and a better production. 80 % of the harvest is returned to the earth and the remaining 20% composes our oil production
